Employee Terms of Use

These Employee Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the WashPot Provider application ("Application") by employees of registered WashPot Service Providers.

By creating an Employee account or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Application.

1. Purpose

Employee accounts are provided solely to assist a registered WashPot Service Provider in operating its business through the WashPot platform.

Employees are authorized users of the Provider's account but are not parties to the business relationship between WashPot and the Service Provider.

2. Eligibility

To use an Employee account, you must:

  • Be authorized by a registered Service Provider.
  • Be at least 18 years of age or otherwise legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law.
  • Provide accurate account information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Employee Accounts

Each Employee account:

  • Belongs to one Service Provider.
  • Is intended for use by one individual only.
  • Must not be shared with others.
  • May not be transferred to another person.

If you leave your employer, your Employee account may be deleted. To work with another Service Provider, you must create a new Employee account under that Provider's registration process.

4. Permitted Use

Employees may use the Application only for legitimate business purposes authorized by their Service Provider.

Depending on permissions provided by the Service Provider, Employees may view bookings, manage bookings, update booking status, view customer information required to perform booked services, and carry out operational tasks within the Application.

Employees may not perform actions beyond the permissions granted by the Application or their Service Provider.

5. Restricted Access

Employees do not have access to:

  • Provider bank account details.
  • Provider ownership information.
  • Marketplace administration functions.
  • Other confidential information not required for their assigned duties.

Attempting to bypass these restrictions is prohibited.

6. Customer Information

Employees may access limited Customer information solely for the purpose of completing booked services, including customer name, customer profile image, booking details, vehicle information, and pickup address, where applicable.

Employees must not:

  • Share Customer information with unauthorized persons.
  • Copy Customer information into personal databases.
  • Contact Customers for unrelated purposes.
  • Use Customer information for marketing or solicitation.

These obligations continue after employment ends.

7. Account Security

Employees are responsible for maintaining the security of their account. You agree to:

  • Keep your password confidential.
  • Not share your login credentials.
  • Notify your Service Provider or WashPot if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Log out from shared devices.

You are responsible for activity carried out using your account until unauthorized access is reported.

8. Employee Responsibilities

Employees agree to perform assigned duties professionally, treat Customers respectfully, protect Customer privacy, follow instructions from their Service Provider regarding use of the Application, comply with applicable laws, and use the Application only for legitimate business purposes.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Employees must not:

  • Create fake bookings.
  • Submit fake reviews.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Misuse Customer information.
  • Share confidential platform information.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to WashPot systems.
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the Application.
  • Use bots or automated tools without authorization.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Violate applicable laws.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of the Employee account.

10. Intellectual Property

The WashPot Application, including its software, trademarks, logos, interfaces, and other intellectual property, remains the property of WashPot or its licensors.

Employees receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Application for authorized business purposes.

11. Privacy

Employee information is collected and processed in accordance with the WashPot Provider Privacy Policy. By using the Application, you consent to such processing.

12. Suspension and Termination

An Employee account may be suspended or terminated where these Terms are violated, employment with the associated Service Provider ends, the Service Provider removes the Employee, or WashPot reasonably determines that continued access poses a security or operational risk.

Termination of an Employee account immediately revokes access to the Application.

13. Disclaimer

The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. WashPot makes no guarantee regarding uninterrupted availability or error-free operation of the Application.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WashPot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Application.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

WashPot may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Mangaluru, Karnataka, India.
